History

The Advocates – Boxing Youth Program is an outgrowth from TASS-SAT and was in founded in 1999.  The main purpose of the Youth Boxing Program is teach reach out to needy and AT-Risk youth and offer Free Boxing and case management services to them and their families. Our program is Unique in that we combine our Expertise in the Boxing field with our Expertise in various Social Services areas.  The Boxing allows youth to vent anger, participate in an Exercise program, and helps with Mental illness as well.  Other positive attributes are helping with Childhood Obesity, addressing Diabetes, and avoiding gangs, drugs, and teen pregnancy.

The case management helps the Youth Mentoring and helps to stabilize their families if a need for social services is prevalent.
